A Flesh Stays A Flesh Until Our Bodily Redemption

"It is finished. " John 19:30 GOOD NEWS- Today's English Version

My dear friends, I've been hearing Pastors, Bishops and fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord insulting the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ by saying "People need to be purified of their sins. Many people are not purified. A church ceremony of purification of sins is needed."

INSULTING THE BLOOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

And they do this ceremony differently. Where I visit sometimes, the Bishop goes to a room and one by one people go to him, confessing their sins to him, saying "Do not look at me and be ashamed. Look at me and see God. Confess to him, ignore me." Something like that! Then he would pray for that person after the confession of sins. I've never done this. I've considered it but didn't find anything to confess about for my sins have already been forgiven by LORD GOD. I would not be visiting there if he had never now and again said "God told me to delete everything I have been taught by people and keep what he teached me." Some in other churches use water to purify people of their sins, saying "The water created by God."

Now this is intensely insulting Jesus Christ! Treating his blood as a cheap thing! All this means to all these Pastors, Bishops and fellow brothers and sisters Jesus is still dead and is only now a ghost!

Or perhaps his blood ran out! Or that was a long time ago, his blood got dry! Who said people don't pray to Father God to confess their sins to Him? How did they know people are not purified of sins and then insult Jesus' blood by taking Jesus ' place or using water?! But I don't condemn them.

FORGIVENESS OF SIN- OLD TESTAMENT

ANIMAL SACRIFICE

Leviticus 9:7 Then he said to Aaron, "Go to the altar and offer the sin-offering and the burnt-offering to take away your sins and the sins of the people. Present this offering to take away the sins of the people, just as the LORD commanded. "

Hebrews 5
  • 1 Every high priest is chosen from his fellow-men and appointed to serve God on their behalf, to offer sacrifices and offerings for sins.
  • 3 And because he is himself weak, he must offer sacrifices not only for the sins of people but also for his own sins.

FORGIVENESS OF SIN - NEW TESTAMENT

THE WORD BECAME FLESH

The Lord who is the Word of God became flesh as Jesus. This is the very same LORD that the priests and people offered their sin-offerings to.

John 1
  • 1 In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
  • 14 The Word became flesh - New International Version

He came with the revelation of grace and truth. Find out more about Grace ☞ LAW AND GRACEMatthew 5 : 17-20 EXPLAINED THROUGH THE TRANSFIGURATION ☞ The Law was given Grace

Mathew 1
  • 20 an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, descendent of David, do not be afraid to take Mary to be your wife. For it is by the Holy Spirit that she has conceived.
  • 21 She will have a son, and you will name him Jesus - because he will save people from their sins. "
  • 23 A virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and he will be called Immanuel" ( which means, " God is with us " ).

BAPTISM OF WATER- BEFORE JESUS' DEATH

Already the forgiveness of sin changed, from animal sacrifice to baptism of water by Jesus' cousin, John the Baptist.

Luke 3
  • 3 "Turn away from your sins and be baptized, and God will forgive your sins. "

John the Baptist said these words. Jesus was also baptized with a revelation of the Holy Spirit and pleasing God. Now Jesus did not sin. He was baptized to reveal this revelation.

  • 21 After all the people had been baptized, Jesus also was baptized. While he was praying, heaven opened
  • 22 and the Holy Spirit came down upon him in bodily like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, "You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you."

FORGIVENESS OF SIN- NEW TESTAMENT: AFTER JESUS' DEATH

After Jesus was crucified on the cross he said "It is finished " Then died and raised on the 3rd day after his death.

Hebrews 10
  • 2 If the people worshipping God had really been purified from their sins, they would not feel guilty of sin any more, and all sacrifices would stop.
  • 5 For this reason when Christ was about to come into the world, he said to God: "You do not want sacrifices and offerings, but you have prepared a body for me.
  • 6 You are not pleased with animal burnt whole on the altar or with sacrifices to take away sins.
  • 7 Then I said, 'Here I am, to do your will, O God, just as it is written in the book of the Law' "

See why God is pleased with his Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

  • 9 So God does away will all the old sacrifices and puts the sacrifice of Christ in their place.
  • 10 Because Jesus Christ did what God wanted him to do, we are all purified from sin by the offering that he made of his own body once and for all.
  • 12 Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective for ever, and then he sat down at the righthand side of God.
  • 13 There he now waits until God puts his enemies as a footstool under his feet.

Who are his enemies?

  • 29 What, then, of those who despise the Son of God? who treat as a cheap this the blood of God's covenant which purified them from sin? who insult the Spirit of grace? Just think how mush worse is the punishment they will deserve!

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE

After Jesus was crucified on the cross, He died and raised on the 3rd day

Luke 24
  • 1 Very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb...
  • 2 They found the stone rolled away from the entrance to the tomb.
  • 3 so they went in; but they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus
  • 6 He is not here he has been raised.

Jesus raised as human with evidence on his body that he was crucified on the cross

  • 39 Look at my hands and my feet, and see that it is I myself. Feel me, and you will know, for a ghost doesn't have flesh and bones, as you can see I have.
  • 41 he asked them, "Have you anything here to eat?"
  • 42 They gave him a piece of cooked fish,
  • 43 which he took and ate in their presence.

Mark 16:19 After the Lord Jesus had talked with them, he was taken up to heaven and sat at the right side of God.

JESUS CHRIST OUR HIGHLY PRIEST

Hebrews 4
  • 14 Let us, then, hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we have a great High Priest who has gone into the very presence of God- Jesus, the Son of God.
  • 16 Let us have confidence, then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. There we will recieve mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.
  • 23 There were many of those other priests, because they died and could not continue their work.
  • 24 But Jesus lives on forever, and his work as priest does not pass on to someone else.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS PURIFIES SINS- CONFESS SINS TO FATHER GOD

1 John 5:6 Jesus is the one who came with the water of his baptism and the blood of his death. He came not only with the water and blood, but both water and blood. And the Spirit himself testifies that this is truth.

1 John 1
  • 7 The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from every sin.
  • 9 But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing.

1 John 2
  • 1 but if anyone does sin, we have someone who pleads with the Father on our behalf- Jesus Christ, the righteous one.
  • 2 And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are forgiven, and not our sins only, but sins of everyone.
  • 12 Your sins are forgiven for the sake of Christ.

Hebrews 10:14 With one sacrifice, then, he has made perfect for ever those who are purified from sin.
